Objective for the use of this site:  to educate students about the instruments of the orchestra

Evaluation summary:    This site provides students with the opportunity to learn about all of the instruments of the orchestra, their history and more.  Students who visit the site can read interviews with and Orchestral Director, a young composer, and a viola player.  Students can also link to the San Francisco symphony's  kids site or look at other fun music links to find instruments or even orchestras to play in listed by state.  Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) are presented for the viewers as well as the opportunity to 'take a seat in the orchestra'.  This site was a joy to visit and meets many educational needs in the elementary music classroom.
